Intended and Actual Uses

Rohypnol was intended to be an analogue of Valium and other benzodiazepines. It was to treat insomnia and other sleeping disorders, anxiety, and seizures. it was also used as a skeletal and muscle relaxant, as well as pre-operational anaesthic.

    Some of the reasons people abuse this drug is the drugs ability to physically and mentally incapacitate the user, allowing one to make sexual advances on another. It also creates intense stimulation when taken.
